Cal Poly Organic Farm Pick-Up Comes to BP/TE!

Cal Poly Organic Farm welcomes Bishop's Peak/Teach Elementary as the newest pick-up location for its Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program.  Teach your children about eating fresh fruits and vegetables that are grown locally.  Also, the produce can teach children about seasonality of food crops and organic agriculture. 

CSA Member Benefits:

Receive a weekly 'share' of the Farm's harvest including veggies and fruit that children will actually eat! Enjoy a weekly newsletter with recipes and community announcements.  Support the next generation of farmers learning about organic agriculture education at Cal Poly State University. Use the Farm and the produce as educational and recreational resources. 

CSA Program Details:

  1. Members choose between a large share, (designed for 3 to 5 people, avail. for $26.50/week), or a small share, (designed 1 to 2 people, avail. for $20/week).  Members must sign up for a minimum of 12 weeks.
  2. Members pick up their shares in the parking lot on Tuesdays between 2:15 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
  3. Bishop's Peak CSA season will run during their academic year beginning August 31st.  All school vacations will also be CSA breaks.

The first day is August 31!  Extra boxes will be available for purchase, and you can also sign up here at that time.
