Fundraisers

Our annual fundraisers go towards our students' study trips, assemblies, class activities, and other fun and educational programs throughout the year.

Carnival

A huge thank you to everyone who made the 2011 carnival such a huge success!  Next year's carnival will be held on an as-yet-unannounced Friday in October from 5 pm to 8 pm!

Remember, our silent and live auctions at the carnival are the best fundraiser we have.  Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open year-round for possible donations for next year's carnival!  Our Donation Form will be available all year on the website in the menu on the right.

March-a-Thon

The March-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year!  It helps fund many of our children’s favorite things that would not be possible without it.  These include: fieldtrips, guest performers, library books, art & dance instruction, playground equipment, classroom supplies and many other things that enrich our children’s educational experience.

How does the March-a-thon work?

How can students help?

How can parents help?

And lastly, anyone wishing to give our kids a little extra energy and donate fruit the morning of the March-a-thon is encouraged to do so. Orange and apple slices, bananas, grapes, strawberries, and pineapple can be dropped off at the snack table (washed and ready to serve), and will be most appreciated by our budding athletes.

Book Fair

Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair planning is underway and scheduled for Monday, November 14 nd through Friday, November 18.

The "Fair" is only made  possible with the help and involvement of the parents.   During the first week of school, there were volunteer sign up sheets that were sent home for parents to sign and volunteer for the many events that Bishop's Peak hosts to benefit our children.  The monies earned at these events go towards field day and school trips which the children look forward to going on. Without these fundraisers, none of the events would be possible.

eScrip and Grocery Store Program

Local grocery store club cards can be linked to Bishop’s Peak account.  The school will then receive money when you shop.  Or purchase Scrip Program weekly gift cards/certificates for many local stores and Bishop’s Peak receives a percentage.  Contact Doris Kim or Beth Meyer for more information, or go to www.escrip.com to sign up!

Scrip/Gift Card Program

Scrip Order FormWe’re pleased to share some exciting news about a new way for families to help raise money for Bishop’s Peak Elementary School. It’s called “Scrip,” and it works while you shop. Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including Albertsons, Vons, Jamba Juice, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, and Barnes and Noble.  For a complete listing of retailers, including those not shown on our order form, go to www.glscrip.com

It’s simple -- Member families like yours buy the certificates for full face value then redeem them for full face value. When you use these cards a percent of your purchases is given back to Bishop’s Peak School.

Download and print the order form (by clicking here or on the image above) and return it to school.  Your scrip order will be ready to pick up in front of the office from Beth Meyer on designated days.  If you are unable to pick up your order on those days, please contact Beth Meyer.

OR....Scrip is now offering a program with a number of their retailers.  You can order the Scrip online with your credit card or e-check and it will be e-mailed to you within 30 minutes of your order time.  To participate in this part of the program go to www.shopwithscrip.com; Our non-profit's enrollment code, to used by participating families for registration, is: DF6LDCFA28514
